The Zoo
You live your life behind a transparent wall
only dreaming of the foliage in the green forest hall
The prying eyes have always been there
leaving handprints to the glass for you to glare
Slightly annoyed at your life but not knowing why
you've always looked down on them from your post so high
You are fed, you are safe, the walls have always been there
So why are you yearning so badly to be elsewhere
